About this Event

🌊Welcome to Wave & Wellness!🌊

Come join us for a day of relaxation and rejuvenation at Rise Collective. Treat yourself to Yin Yoga and a Float Sound Bath. This event is designed to help you go beyond relaxation and into euphoria.

This one-of-a-kind experience begins with 1 hour of Yin Yoga, where gentle, long-held poses open the body and calm the nervous system. Finally, immerse yourself into a 1 hour Floating Sound Bath. Let soothing vibrations wash over you as you rest on water on an air mattress, supported and surrounded by sound.

Connect with like-minded individuals who share your passion for health and wellness. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, there's something for everyone at Wave & Wellness.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to unwind and recharge. Grab your mat and join us for a day of self-care and serenity. We can't wait to see you there!

🧘‍♀️ How a Float Sound Bath Works:
  1. You Float: You lie down on a special air mattress designed to float on water. It supports your body gently, keeping you mostly dry while allowing you to feel weightless—like you're floating in space.
  2. You Relax: Once you're comfortable and floating, the facilitator begins the sound bath. This involves playing calming instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, or even underwater speakers that let sound travel through the water.
  3. You Receive Sound & Vibration: As you float, sound waves pass through the air, the water, and even the mattress, creating a full-body sensory experience. You don’t just hear the sounds—you feel them. Your body becomes part of the vibration.
  4. You Drift into Deep Rest: The combination of floating and sound encourages a deeply meditative, relaxed state. People often feel like they’re in a dream-like or trance state. It’s peaceful, soothing, and can reduce stress, anxiety, and tension.

✅ What to Bring:

    •    Pillow, blanket, and an eye cover (for comfort)

    •    Light clothing (ankles may get wet)

Leave feeling refreshed, restored, and deeply connected to yourself. 🌊

👉 Don’t wait—spots are limited, and you don’t want to miss this unforgettable afternoon of healing and recovery.

Host: Samantha Cornelison

Info: Meet founder of Coastal Wellness Retreats. Samantha started this business because she saw a real need for community and connection. She wanted to create a space where people could come together to relax, recharge, have fun, and build meaningful friendships. My mission is simple: to create memorable, healing experiences that bring people together in community and joy.

The inspiration for Coastal Wellness Retreats came during a nonprofit event I helped plan. As I looked around the room and saw the laughter, connection, and smiling faces, it hit me. This is what I want to do! That moment of joy sparked the idea, and here we are.

Coastal Wellness Retreats officially launched in 2025, and our very first event sold out! In April, 30 guests joined us at Rustique Winery in Salinas for a beautiful day of yoga, sound baths, snacks, and thoughtful gifts. It was everything I dreamed of; and just the beginning.
