The crew of Hustead EMS has been working for a while now on the Warm Up America! project. Community members have been so kind with donations of yarn and time. For those unfamiliar with this project: yarn is crocheted into 7X9 rectangles throughout the year. Then we get together and have a day of joining those sections together into blankets that then get donated to those in need (senior centers, homeless shelters..etc). on Sat, Jan 24th we will be getting together for the joining day. Please join us for a fun day of crafting. We will have snacks and hot cocoa and may stream movies or shows.
You don't have to know how to crochet to be a section joiner - whip stitch or standard stitch is fine for joining crocheted sections.
