The WaterWise Landscape Tour returns on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 am to 2 pm. Don’t miss this one-day-only, self-guided, self-paced tour of beautiful, sustainable yards that thrive in the summer heat. You’ll leave with excitement and confidence to transform your own yard.Knowledgeable homeowners, volunteers and experts will be available to answer questions, share valuable gardening advice and provide a friendly, interactive experience. Plus, the tour coincides with the monarch butterfly migration, so bring your camera!
On tour day, be sure to stop by tour headquarters, the Plano Environmental Education Center (4116 W. Plano Pkwy.), for free gardening tools while supplies last.
A tour map, plant lists and other information to help you plan your tour day will be available at Plano.gov/WWLT in mid-September.
This is a free, rain-or-shine event. Registration is not required. Transportation is not provided.
