About this Event

This workshop is designed for zoning board of adjustment or appeals members, town and other local officials, zoning staff, and other interested people. We will discuss town recommendations, how zoning board members act like judges and how their decisions impact communities. Then we will take a deep dive into variance decisions covering the legal standards for granting a variance, how to create legally defensible decisions, and work through variance scenarios.
