Join Marine CSI every 3rd Thursday of the month as we dive into the wonders of science! This exciting, hands-on class is perfect for kids in grades K-5, where they’ll explore the fascinating world of ecosystems, food webs, human interactions, and conservation.We all need three things to survive - food, water, and shelter. In this game of life, we will discover how difficult it can be to find ways to survive when resources are limited and predators are everywhere. Young participants will be sea turtle hatchlings trying to avoid predators to grow up big and strong. Older participants will find that not all resources are available when they need them.
Each session will include a marine themed hands-on activity followed by a short hike around the park to discuss how we are all connected to the watershed.
Sessions are $10 per participant.
Parents/Guardians are not required to stay for the session, however remaining on-site is encouraged.
