What is Trunk or Treat?
A Halloween event where trick-or-treating is done from car to car in a parking lot. Trunks are opened and decorated with a fun theme, with candy (or treats) handed out by each car owner.
How Can I Add to the Fun?
*Register to decorate your car and pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. All registered cars must be parked and decorated by 5:15 pm, and must remain parked until 7:15 pm.
*Attend the event from 5:30-7:00 pm, visiting the decorated trunks and collecting halloween treats. Remember to bring your own collection bag! Costumes are encouraged, not required. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You do NOT need to register to attend!
*Donate candy, or treats. Donation bins are in the Front Office to collect bags of individually-wrapped candy or treats (eg. erasers, fidgets) to add to what our Trunk or Treat cars bring to hand out. Lots of kids = lots of treats!
*Volunteer your time. We need helpers to direct car traffic, people and perform other small tasks during the event. Email Melissa Lean ([email protected]) to sign up.
What Else Should I Know?
*To ensure a night of safe fun, keep in mind:
*This is a family-friendly event attended by children of all ages. Costumes and car decorations should be “school appropriate” with no references to violence, gore, or overly frightening imagery.
*Costume masks are not allowed
*Each family can walk the trunk or treat loop one (1) time only to make sure there are enough goodies for everyone.

Don’t forget to support the Book Fair!
The Book Fair will be open during the event from 4:30-7:00 pm in the Media Center.
