In 2024 we are celebrating the 200-year anniversary of four Lambeth churches with a pilgrimage from church to church.
About this Event

Saturday 14th September 2024, 12 noon to 5pm – but see below if you would like to join for part of the walk only

The walk will start from St Luke’s Church, West Norwood, SE27 0DT at 12 noon and end at St John’s, Waterloo at 3.45pm where our combined choirs will lead a Service of Thanksgiving, and we will have tea and birthday cake!

In 2024 we are celebrating the 200-year anniversary of four Lambeth churches.

We will walk from St Luke’s, West Norwood via St Matthew’s Brixton, and St Mark’s Kennington, arriving at St John’s Waterloo for evensong and tea. We’re hoping that we can gather about 200 people to celebrate our shared 200th anniversaries. Please join us!

If you wish to join for part of the walk, the timings are:

Gather from 11.30 am at St Luke’s, West Norwood, SE27 0DT

Or join us at St Matthew’s Brixton, SW2 1JF at 1pm

Or at St Mark’s Kennington, SE11 4PW at 2.45pm

Or to join the service at the end, come to St John’s Waterloo, at 3.45pm.

FREE! Please bring your own picnic, water, and sun hat or raincoat.
