About this Event
Whether you're an artist, poet, writer, or someone who doesn't consider yourself particularly artistic or creative, we have an invitation for you.
‘Waterloo Creatives’ is a new space for creators of all kinds - artists, poets, writers, filmmakers, musicians - whether professional, amateur, or aspiring. Even if you don’t label yourself as artistic, this is a place to meet and mingle in a supportive, safe environment!
At these meet-ups, you’ll find live performances, space for improvisation, spoken word, poetry, and screenings of independent films. You’ll also have the opportunity to share projects and ideas you're working on or thinking about.
Come along to meet creative-minded people, share your knowledge and skills, collaborate with others, and find potential partners to help bring your creative dreams to life. There is NO PRESSURE to perform or share - we're all about building connections among creatives in our community.
The first meeting will be on November 27th, from 6:30pm to 8pm (drop in at any time), in the Crypt of St John’s Waterloo. Teas, coffees, and biscuits will be provided, and you're welcome to bring your own food and drink.
PS. Performance slots for November are filled, but let us know if you'd like to perform at future meet-ups.
Still feeling nervous? Feel the fear and do it anyway!
