With steam locomotive A2 986 hauling the Tait train, open the windows and experience the steam era. You may also join us on our transfer trains from Newport Station or Flinders Street Station to Watergardens Station in the morning or Watergardens Station to Flinders Street Station or Newport Station in the afternoon.
Come along for a ride on The Vintage Train for a fun family day out through Melbourne's north Western suburbs.
5 x return shuttles will depart Watergardens Station at 10:05am, 11:00am, 11:55am, 1:40pm and 2:35pm. These will operate to Sunbury Station and return, passengers will not be able to join/leave the train at Sunbury Station.
One way transfer trips will depart at the following times -
Newport Station at 8:01am from Platform 1 or Flinders Street Station 8:40am from Platform 10 to Watergardens Station arriving at 9:21am.
Watergardens Station at 3:21pm from Platform 1 to Flinders Street Station arriving at 3:59pm or Newport Station arriving at 4:30pm.
NOTE: Shuttles arrival and departure is from Watergardens Station, you are unable to board at Sunbury.
