We are hosting a Walking Tour in Mission Creek/Mission Bay and are inviting you to join us!
About this Event

The Port of San Francisco is hosting a Walking Tour in Mission Creek/Mission Bay and would like to invite you to come and explore the Southern Waterfront.

This tour is designed to familiarize participants with areas of the waterfront and the community. We will discuss the Southern Waterfront’s importance, history, and ecology, risks of sea level rise in this area, and measures being taken to address sea level rise and seismic impacts.

The Waterfront Resilience Program (WRP) studies and addresses immediate and long-term hazards like flooding, earthquakes, and sea level rise in San Francisco. With this walking tour, we hope to provide a deeper understanding of the WRP, including its vision, goals, and framework.

We aim to connect the WRP to the community and share how the WRP will address the hazards along the Southern Waterfront. We would love to hear community priorities, feedback, and questions to ensure the WRP responds to community needs and reflects the priorities of those who live, work, and play along the Southern Waterfront.

This waterfront is for everyone, and we need everyone’s input to be successful!
