About this Event
Join us for a lovely fall hike in Dundas Valley Conservation area including Tiffany Falls, Sherman Falls and Lower Little Falls.

This hike is 3.7 km long, 96 m elevation, estimated to take 1 - 1.5 hrs to complete and listed as moderate.
For those interested, we can stop for a lunch after our hike at nearby Coach & Lantern pub
LIABILITY WAIVER: Friendly reminder that it is required to sign the e-waiver before attending your first Women Who Explore event. Please sign on an annual basis.

FOR HIKING EVENTS:
Due to local guidelines, and in accordance with Leave No Trace Principles, Women Who Explore limits the number of attendees for hiking or outdoor events. To make sure we are following local guidelines, every attendee must register through Eventbrite. In the event you successfully register, and then are unable to attend, please release the ticket so that another member may attend. If you

PARKING: Please note that the "venue" address is the meeting start point at Harper's Garden Centre. This is a paid parking lot. There's is a free parking lot but it's very small and gets full quickly so I'm choosing to meet here instead. If you choose to try and park in the free lot, please make your way to the designated meeting point.
MEETING POINT: Harper's Garden Centre Parking Lot (1039 Wilson St E, Dundas, ON L9H 5E3) at 10 am
DRIVING/CARPOOLING: if you need a ride or would prefer to carpool, please reach out to your ambassor or post in your local Facebook Group
WHAT TO BRING:
• Water
• snacks
• Dress in layers
• Rain coat if necessary
• Shoes with good traction
• A light backpack or pouch
• Shades & sunblock
If you are attending an outdoor event, please make sure to brush up on the Leave No Trace Principles HERE.
** PLEASE NOTE: Ambassadors are not wilderness first aid certified. This is a casual get together for shared outdoor enthusiasts. Safety is a top priority; please plan accordingly.**
EVENT GUIDELINES FOR SICKNESS:
Please be mindful of other members attending the events. If you have developed cold or flu-like symptoms leading up to the event, please cancel your spot in Eventbrite and notify the ambassador hosting the event.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other women who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
