Join artist Judy Currie for a beginner-friendly watercolour workshop in conjunction with her exhibition The Two of Us - Dual Perspectives with husband Dr Paul Currie. In this workshop you will have the opportunity to explore your artistic skills and create your very own watercolour masterpiece. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your techniques, this workshop is designed to guide you through the process of creating a beautiful watercolour painting, using high-quality materials and personalised instruction.
Bring your own pencils, erasers, and watercolour paints (preferably tubes and palette, but pans are fine too). Judy will provide artist-quality paper, masking tape, and a reference photo for you to paint from. A lightbox will also be available for those who prefer not to draw freehand. We’ll work on lightweight boards (with some available for borrowing), and you’ll need a good size water container, a towel, and tissues or paper towels to keep your workspace tidy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new techniques, experiment with watercolour, and leave with your own unique painting to be proud of!
Saturday 5 April, 10am - 1pm
