Be inspired by flowers and the natural world. All levels of ability welcome - this will be relaxed, nurturing, creative time for you and you can explore the medium of water colour paint.
Prior to my exhibition last year I rediscovered my love of watercolour. My spin on this was to paint on raw fabric using only one or two colours. I loved it and it was so therapeutic for me.
Painting, as with so many other creative pursuits, can really get you in that ‘flow’ state where you lose track of time, and completely focus on the present moment.
These are mindful moments and can help to quieten the mind.
In this workshop we will explore the basis of colour mixing, sketching out a design and the different marks we can make with our brush.
These workshops are for complete beginners upwards with as little or as much help from me as you need.
They are more to do with the relaxing, mindful aspect of being creative as opposed to copying just what I do. The idea is to explore your own creativity with me as a guide at the side.
Watercolour is a beautiful medium which can be built up in layers and can have a lovely dreamy quality about it.
Small, intimate groups which are informal and supportive with a maximum of eight.
£35 per person.
