Let’s get those paintbrushes out! In this special workshop, with resident Fine Artist, Susan Yeates, you will learn techniques for creating bold and beautiful pattern structures using layers of watercolour paint.
We will explore how to use watercolours effectively by adding different amounts of water, explore mark making with different brushes and methods to create different patterns such as using washi tape and layering colours on top of each other.
You will come away from the workshop with confidence in your brushstrokes and pages of beautiful bold patterns. These are also handy skills to transfer onto your pottery painting!
Materials included. No experience necessary. Suitable to beginners to watercolour.
