Painting Italian and Parisian Balconies abundant with light, shadow , colour and expressive free brushwork to help loosen up your artworks.
Paint alongside Nicky as she shows you the stages in informative demonstrations offers you the opportunity to develop your skills with watercolour, the perfect medium to capture this delightful subject.
This is not quite as challenging as some of Nickys other workshops so it's great for not just exploring a beautiful subject with freedom and expression but trying techniques and building confidence for those newer to watercolour or who haven't been for a while. For those with more experience it offers the chance to explore personal style and flair and create a collection of 2 or 3 paintings.
Nicky is an accomplished professional artist specialising in tutoring watercolour painting. She tutors guest workshops, residential painting holidays and art demonstrations for art societies throughout the UK. She uses traditional watercolour methods in a loose and lively contemporary style.
She aims to help students improve their painting skills and grow their creative flair in a productive and enthusiastic friendly environment.
Through attending regular workshops she hosts at her studio in Westbury Arts Centre Milton Keynes, Yardley Arts Northamptonshire and other locations in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire you will surely see improvement in your artwork .
