We’re going to learn watercolour techniques, paint gum leaves and a botanical piece that you choose.If you’re wanting to paint in watercolour and you’re not sure where to begin, or maybe you just need some time for you where you can just turn up and have everything taken care of, then this is class is just for you. Come and have fun learning the beauty of this lovely medium.
Wednesday Evening 22nd May 5-8pm (SA TIME) Evening meal supplied.

In this class we go over the basics of watercolour. Including what brushes, paper and paint you need.
It’s all supplied and all you need to do is turn up, ready to have fun and create.
We’re going to go over washes, blending techniques, and how to get a gorgeous painting that you’d love to hang on your wall.
Painting Gum Leaves is one of the most relaxing things you can do and learning how to drop in colour to a wet leaf is so mesmerising!
We’re going to paint 2 paintings in this class with plenty of time for questions, practice and of course, a light evening meal is supplied.
I can’t wait to share these fun and colourful techniques with you.
About The Post & Rail:
The Post and Rail is a Cooking, Gardening and Art School located at 7 Bill James Court Compton, on a 5 picturesque acre property. In a normal home kitchen designed to provide a relaxed and sociable, learning experience. Please allow an extra 10 mins travel time from the centre of Mount Gambier.
We pride ourselves on our professionalism, warmth, spirit of fun and love of art with friends old and new.
Every guest in our kitchen receives a warm welcome, morning tea, just out of the oven, Tea or proper Coffee and their own apron to wear for the duration of the class, equipment, and ingredients to create the dishes learnt in class. It also includes a Platter Style lunch of seasonal goodies.
