About the Workshop
This two-day workshop with Award-Winning Plein Air Artist Denny Dowdy offers artists of all levels the opportunity to explore watercolor from one of the most accomplished artists and instructors in the region.
Dowdy has designed this workshop to be fun and informative for beginners to advanced watercolorists. Overlooking the stunning natural backdrop provided by John Knox Village, this workshop allows for an in depth exploration focused drawing and composition as well as various watercolor techniques. Students will complete 2-4 paintings over the two-day workshop.
About Denny Dowdy
After attending the Colorado Institute of Art for Commercial Art, Denny worked several years in Pen & Ink illustration for Coca Cola. Years later, he decided to pursue watercolor more seriously. Since 2008, Denny’s art can be found hanging in private collections across the country. He enjoys the community that En Plein Air provides and competes in about 15 Plein Air competitions a year.
