Our favorite plant shop is hosting an intimate watercolor workshop on Saturday, January 17th, at 2:30 PM.
In this watercolor class we will explore the process of painting birds, guiding participants in using specific watercolor techniques to achieve expressive brushstrokes. The workshop will focus on how to use expressive brushstrokes to paint feather animals.
What to expect?
- Learn how to use watercolors, exploring water and brush control;
- Wet on wet and wet on dry watercolor techniques;
- Drawing transfering;
- How to paint realistic eyes;
- How to achieve expressive brush marks to convey feathers;
- All professional supplies included!

About the intructor: Angelica Boleta is a self-taught artist known for her delicate, nature-inspired watercolor paintings. Her work captures the vibrant colors and elegance of flora and fauna, reflecting a heartfelt connection to the natural world.
Blending traditional techniques with a modern touch, Angélica creates pieces that evoke both emotion and tranquility. Beyond painting, she shares her passion for watercolor through workshops, guiding others in discovering the meditative flow of the medium. Whether through custom commissions or in-person and online classes, her goal is to help others embrace creativity, let go of control, and find peace in the fluidity of watercolors.
