About this Event
Join us for a transformative watercolor plein air painting workshop as part of the Symphonia: Dialogues of Landscape, Ritual and Resilience art exhibition at Miller Hall, within the ongoing Religion, Ecology, and Expressive Culture Initiative by the Yale Institute of Sacred Music. Led by artist Jon Seals, this workshop invites participants to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Yale's Marsh Botanical Garden.
Open to graduate students, faculty, and staff at Yale, this hands-on experience encourages you to explore your personal connection to the themes of landscape and environmental stewardship. All materials will be provided, allowing you to focus on creating a small painting that captures the essence of the garden and your reflections on resilience in nature.
Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot for this unique opportunity to engage with art and the environment in a meaningful way. The workshop will be inside the greenhouse.
