About this Event
Suitable for teens and adults, both beginning and experienced.
Description:
We will use “pen and ink” pens to define our designs. Then we will add color using the unique watercolor pencils. They are easy to control but give the look of watercolors. You will get different tips for blending the watercolor pencils with colored pencils for a beautiful result. The teacher will provide fall photo references and handouts you can take home. This class is a great way to expand your horizons and add these techniques to your art skills!
Materials: Bring a 9”x12” watercolor pad for paper or a watercolor “block”. Also, you need a set of 12 watercolor pencils and a small watercolor brush with a point. These are available at local stores such as Michael’s, or Hobby Lobby or at Dick Blick Art catalog & online. Have a pencil, eraser, sharpener, and a skinny permanent black pen such as a thin Sharpie or a Micron 002 (or set of these).
