About this Event
Learn the skill and art of watercolor painting! Students will learn watercolor techniques and how to paint still life subjects. No experience is necessary.
Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies. You may want to wait to purchase until we are a week out from the start date in case the class is canceled or delayed.
CLASS DATES: THURSDAYS 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13 (NO CLASS 3/20), 3/27
(SIX WEEK SESSION)
CLASS TIME: 5:30-7:30pm
CLASS INFO:
All Lee County Lifelong Learning classes must meet a minimum student enrollment or the class will be canceled and a full refund will be issued.
If a class is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up class will be held.
When registering, please use a current email that you check often in order to receive important class messages, date changes, or cancellations.
ALL COMMUNICATION WILL BE THROUGH EMAIL! Please check regularly.
REFUND POLICY:
A refund will be allowed up to ONE-BUSINESS DAY before the class start date.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Watercolor 9x12 pad-10 sheets
Container for Water
Watercolor in tubes or semi-moist pans- 12-16 colors
Palette or palette paper
Various sizes of Sotf synthetic round and flat brushes- (example Sizes 1,2 4, 6, 8)
HB, and 4H pencils
1-2 White Gel Pens
Paper towels
No specific brands needed but if asked: Strathmore and Canson paper are favorites. Watercolor: semi-moist prang 16, Arteza, Koi, Reeves. Do not buy Artist Loft pan set, tubes are okay.
