Ages 18+ are encouraged to study value and color schemes in a course-long painting of the subject matter of the student's choice. Still life studies to support the final project involve mixing paint to blend new colors as well as understanding the transparency between the paint pigment and water base. The instructor will guide individual students through the art-making practice and apply color theory to projects. The pricing of this course includes all materials needed and a personal paint kit for each student to bring home.
