Try out watercolors for the first time or “brush-up” on your basic skills. Experienced watercolor instructor Sharon Soule returns to the art association by popular demand! Students should be able to attend all four class sessions, which will cover different topics:Session 1 (June 5) Learn about the best materials to use and why. Soule will provide the watercolor paper she prefers, which is included in the fee.
Session 2 (June 12) Learn the vocabulary used in watercolor painting and the most common techniques.
Session 3 (June 19) Students will paint a still life to learn about shape and light.
Session 4 (June 26) Students will paint a landscape that focuses on perspective, color and values.
