Four-week introduction to Watercolor class at the Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness.This introductory class is designed for students looking to develop confidence with the basics of watercolor and explore different genres of the medium that could suit their style and goals. We’ll discuss the different materials and styles used in this medium and explore color blending and mark making techniques. As we gain the basic skills, we’ll introduce a couple of relaxing abstract exercises and complete a final landscape portrait.
This is a 4 week class. It will run on 5/9, 5/16, 5/23, and 5/30 from 6-8pm.
Kaitlyn Ripaldi is a Worcester-based illustrator and designer who specializes in watercolor and micron pen illustrations of houses and recipe portraits. More about her work can be found at www.yellowleafdesign.com
