Watercolors for Beginners: Iris

Instructor: Ann Marie Palmer
Learn the fundamentals of watercolors, how to blend colors, control water, and create shadow and depth. Ann Marie will walk you through step-by-step instructions for painting your own bird of paradise painting. Your art will be ready to frame. No previous watercolor painting experience required.

Ann Marie Palmer has been exploring the world of watercolor since 2019, through local classes and private instruction. Her passion for painting botanicals and florals keeps her exploring Leu Gardens and other hidden gems in Orlando. Ann Marie worked and taught in higher education from 2007 through 2021 and is a member of the Central Florida Watercolor Society.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request.
Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.
Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
