About this Event
Our visit to Cynrig Hatchery in May is aimed for when the first litter of the young has been born so that the young are out and about in the enclosures. We hope to see other work on the site such as Freshwater Pearl Mussels, White clawed Crayfish. This will be dependent upon biosecurity measures in place when we visit. The visit of around 1-2 hours will include a talk. Visit led by Richard Davies. 2 maximum places and parking on site for 4 cars, so please car share. No dogs please.
We will meet at 10am On Cambrian Way, near the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority offices/Police Station to sort out car sharing due to limited parking at the Hatchery. Please do not try to drive to the Hatchery independently.
