**Annual Water Safety and Adaptive Swim Series - Register Now!**We are excited to offer our Annual Water Safety and Adaptive Swim Series, a crucial program for our community. These sessions are led by Jennifer Sims of Destiny Swim Camp International, a highly experienced Red Cross certified instructor known for her dedication to water safety and survival techniques.
**Event Details:**
- Instructor: Jennifer Sims of Destiny Swim Camp International
- Location: Dorsey Donlan Park, MLK Swimming Pool on Cora Street
- **Schedule:**
- June 28th, 6:15-8:15 PM:** Ages 11 and up
- July 19th, 6:15-8:15 PM:** Ages 5 to 10
- August 2nd, 6:15-8:15 PM:** Mixed ages 5 to adult
**Key Information:**
- Registration Required:** You must register to secure your spot for this free event.
- Commitment is Crucial:** Due to high demand and a waitlist, please ensure you can attend or cancel promptly if unable to.
- Limited Seating:** Each class is capped at 6 participants to provide more one-on-one interaction with the instructor. Ages are 5yo and up
- Open to All Exceptionalities:** This series is available to anyone with an exceptionality, not just those with autism.
- Assistance Required** Each minor aged Participant MUST have a caregiver age 18 or older who *will enter the pool and remain in the pool during the duration of the course*
**About the Instructor:**
Jennifer Sims has decades of experience in water safety instruction. She is Red Cross certified and played a significant role in rescue missions during Hurricane Katrina. Her passion for water safety drives her to teach essential survival techniques to as many people as possible.
**Important Note:**
If you cannot attend after registering, please contact us immediately to allow someone from the waitlist to participate. Call or text 337.235.4425. This course is for ages 5 and up and Seating is *LIMITED*, class sizes are six participants maximum, to ensure more one on one engagement from the instructor. **PLEASE - Do NOT register form this event unless you plan to be there!
