This course is designed to prepare students to pass the Florida Department of Environmental Protection test and become a water distribution operator. The level 3 operator license qualifies the operator to serve the distribution system connected to a Class A, B or C water treatment plant serving at least 1,000 persons and less than 10,000. This class covers storage facilities, distribution system facilities, distribution system operation and maintenance, distribution system mathematics, disinfection and safety.
