Welcome to the very first Water Contact ImproJam by ImproDans Trondheim on Saturday 25.5.2024 kl 13-15 at Pirbadet.
In this ImproJam you are invited to a collective movement journey surrounded and supported by the world of water. You will be gently guided into a flow state where you tune into your own liquid body and discover your own water dance. The first hour offers a playful approach to dance improvisation and gives an introduction to water contact where we explore movements together while in physical contact with others. After the guided workshop part, we dive into the open Jam - an open space where you can improvise freely and explore movements both alone or together with others in and underwater.
There are only 20 spots available for this event, so make sure to sign up beforehand.
Registration and more info via: [email protected]
The event is free but a ticket for Pirbadet must be purchased individually. We will be in a private pool with a sliding depth of 90cm-160cm.
Everyone is welcome. Comfortability in the water is advised. Everyone is responsible for their safety.
Please bring: swimwear, towel, water bottle, nose clips (are recommended and can be borrowed), ear plugs (if needed), diving goggles (optional)
ImproDans Trondheim wants to offer an open, free, and safe space for movement and sound exploration and a playful approach to improvisation. The ImproJam is held in English by Anna Thu Schmidt.
