This is a great course for anyone who enjoys painting with watercolours or who has always wanted to give it a go.Learn how to paint simple landscapes. Perfect for creating your unique greetings cards, display paintings and gifts!
Our tutor Lisa is an experienced artist and teacher. She has delivered drawing workshops in person with Running With Scissors before. She has successfully managed to pivot to delivering online. She has gained positive reviews for the way in which she delivers session, despite not being face to face. You will be able to ask questions and gain feedback as well as clearly seeing the demonstrations all from the comfort of your own home.
Suitable for both beginners and improvers the short course is organised as follows
Week 1 – Night time stars cape – This week we try galaxy painting, learning how to paint a beautiful starlit sky and tree silhouettes.
Week 2 – Seascape – This week we learn how to paint in layers to create a beautiful seascape.
Week 3 – Mountain scape. – This week we look at how to use light and dark to create a striking mountain scape
Suitable for beginners, no experience required.
You will be required to organise your own material. You will need:
Watercolour paints
A pallet
Watercolour paper
Paintbrushes (soft and in various sizes)
Two water pots
Masking tape
white pen (optional)
White acrylic or gesso
£30 in total for the three sessions
