Sculpture, watercolour and acrylic painting
Does your child need reminding of how we all grow and learn in different ways and speeds? This workshop explores how everyone is smart in their own way: how we all have different strengths and talents. We use the metaphor of how a tree grows to teach children about how to think with a growth mindset, friendship skills including getting on with others, accepting differences and other people’s points of view.
The workshop will help those children develop emotional regulation and is especially helpful for those children who display perfectionist behaviours. It will also children gain acceptance of who they are. In this class children will explore natural materials to make a sculptured tree and complete mindful drawing activities and watercolour painting.
