Join Waste to Wonder Artist Ryan Toth in dreaming up animals as representations of self, friends and families. Participants will play with patterns and textured papers creating shapes of animals, learning to create dynamic contrasts and interactions together. Participants would work with Ryan to create a collage or diorama and walk away with a fun family art piece.This workshop is intended for families creating together, the price of workshop is for parents/guardians and their children, no more than 4 people per ticket. Advanced registration required. Ages 6+
Registration Closes Friday, January 16th at 12pm. No experience necessary and all materials provided. Each family will work on one artwork together.
About the Artist: Ryan Toth (b. 1979; West Palm Beach , FL) is a painter and a sculptor currently living and working in South Florida. He received a BFA from The Cooper Union in New York City in 2002, where he was a Benjamin Menschel Fellow. Toth has exhibited his colorful artworks and fanciful osteological fabrications throughout the US and abroad, including The Norton Museum of Art and Art Palm Beach. Toth is currently a full-time faculty instructor in Drawing at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts.
