This course will provide delegates with an understanding of waste management obligations within the construction sector. This will include legal obligations in this area. Delegates will understand the importance of developing specific site waste management plans and of how to apply the principles of the waste management hierarchy and in doing so drive down waste management costs and increase recycling rates.

Trainer Overview:

Stephanie Singer - Director of Environmental and Technical Services at Quadra Limited with 15 years of experience as an Environmental and Energy Consultant. She provides professional, practical and impartial advice to organisations to enable them to understand waste management principles. Stephanie, as a member of CIWM, has a specific interest in waste management and diverting waste from landfills.

Stephanie has considerable experience in waste auditing and waste management initiatives as well as delivering waste legislation and waste management training courses for various clients including those from the construction industry.
