About this Event
Circular Philadelphia, Clean Water Action, Clean Philadelphia Now, Weavers Way Plastic Reduction Task Force, Neighborhood Network, and many more have joined forces to present a Five-Point Mayoral Agenda for a Clean and Waste-Free Future for Philadelphia. The goal is for Philadelphia to achieve Zero Waste by 2035 through equitable measures, including efficient and reliable waste collection, recycling, and litter prevention programs. The Press Conference will call on the next Mayor to commit to this goal, take transparent and strategic action in the first 100 days to support and expand the circular economy, and end dumping and littering by 2028 to improve the quality of life for all residents and contribute to a safe, clean, and thriving ecosystem.
Note: Pre-registration is required for entry to the campus. Limited to 75 participants, first come, first served. Public transportation is encouraged, as parking may not be available.
