Celebrate Somerset's cheeriest family-friendly winter tradition. Join us on Sunday 18 January 2-4.30pm for an afternoon where we gather to celebrate the age old custom of wassailing – blessing the apple trees in our orchard to bring a bountiful harvest for the year ahead. With song, music, theatre and a dash of Somerset mischief, we will chase away the bad spirits and bless the trees in our historic walled orchard.
Create and bring along your finest decorated wassail crowns, as prizes will be given for the best apple-themed headdress.
Plus tasty apple-themed treats served from the Shoemakers Museum cafe.
This event is for Museum pass holders. Shoemakers Museum tickets are annual passes that offer entry into the museum all year round, free parking passes for Clarks Car Park II and access to education activities and events throughout the year.
