Join us for a festive celebration at Happyville Farm as we embrace the ancient tradition of wassailing. Say "Wah-SAIL!" Wassailing is a centuries-old ritual held in apple-growing regions, to thank the trees for being there for us and encourage them to grow a huge harvest in the coming year! At the farm, we’ll gather around a roaring fire, then walk out among the apple trees, sing the traditional wassailing carol, and toast the trees with cider to promote their health and fertility.
After the wassailing, we’ll move to Sam’s house for a community potluck at 5:30 PM. This is a great way to warm up, share delicious food, meet new friends, and enjoy each other’s company on the first weekend of the new year!
If you need to arrange to drop off your potluck dish beforehand, please contact Sam.
