Morning Breakfast Walk: Explore The Washlands and Beyond
Kickstart your day with a refreshing 3-mile morning walk that combines natural beauty with a bit of adventure! We’ll meet at the Lakeside Pub before setting off along the peaceful canal, and enjoying the tranquil waterside views.
Our journey then takes us up a gentle hill to the stunning Nature Reserve known as The Washlands, a hidden gem of Northampton. As we circle the flood plain, we’ll pick up the pace, making time to capture the breathtaking scenery along the way.
After this invigorating loop, we’ll return to the pub, where a well-deserved hot coffee and hearty breakfast await. This is the perfect way to energize your morning—good company, beautiful landscapes, and the promise of a delicious fry-up to top it all off!

Please arrive by 6.15 am we will set off at 6.30 am sharp. If this is your first AG walk, then please arrive nice and early and seek out the walk leader who will be wearing a red "walk leader" pin badge.

☕️ BREAKFAST? We often stop for breakfast after a morning miracle walk. The menu will be sent to you via email on the Wednesday before the event for pre-orders.
🎒 WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
- Good trainers or walking shoes (and other clothes of course!).
- Bring raingear if the weather is looking wet!
- A drink.
⛑ RULES TO KEEP YOU SAFE :
- We walk in all weathers, however, if we have a weather warning then the event may be cancelled. Keep an eye on your emails and the Facebook event page for notifications of any cancellations.
- We will only ever walk in groups of 15 or less. If we have more than 15, we will usually have two walk leaders and walk in opposite directions.
