Washita Love Child: The Rise of Indigenous Rock Star Jesse Ed Davis is the first ever book about the sensational Indigenous musician from Oklahoma who played with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, John Lennon, Jackson Browne, and over one hundred more major artists while shaping the sound of popular music and who could make it, all before an untimely passing in Los Angeles in 1988.
About the author:
Douglas Miller is a musician and associate professor of history at Oklahoma State University. His forthcoming biography, Washita Love Child: The Rise of Indigenous Rock Star Jesse Ed Davis, is the first ever book on Davis’s compelling life and legacy. Miller is also the co-producer of the forthcoming Tomorrow May Not Be Your Day, an archival album set of unissued Jesse Ed Davis music.
