This event is being created not set in stone yet!This would be a week long trip leaving bright and early 5AM on Saturday 3-29 or Sunday 3-30 arriving that evening and heading back on Saturday 4-5. We will visit all the monuments, Smithsonian museums, Arlington national cemetery, National Archives, The Mint, Library of Congress, Ford’s Theatre, Holocaust museum and possibly White House tour or a trip to Gettysburg. Mount Vernon unfortunately will be under a full remodel so no tours 😭.
As of this moment the pricing I have is $600-700 which includes the motorcoach and hotel for 56 people. This does not include lunch or dinner, breakfast comes with the hotel. I will be planning our itinerary around access to reasonable priced dining. Our family are foodies so we will probably plan a nice dinner one night if this something the group would like to do I can research and make reservations for that in advance.
This is trip is going to be a big undertaking on my part so please let your Yes be Yes.
Any adult who wants to attend will be background checked which the cost will be included in the final price of trip.
The quoted pricing I have is only good for 30days and is contingent on 56 participants. It could go up or down depending on how many signup.
There will be a non refundable deposit of $150 per person and then I will set up a payment plan to make it easy unless you want to pay all upfront.
I need a headcount no later than May 10 to move forward.
