These are the only changes we are making for the new year as everything else will remain the same pertaining to admission. We look forward to bringing more and more new things to the field and to the awesome players that make this possible, thank everyone for your continued support and we look forward to making this a great year for you all.
GENERAL FIELD RULES 2024
1. SAFETY FIRST: Wear your mask, eye pro and safety gear at all times on the Battlefield. Do not remove eye or face protection on the battlefield for any reason.
2. HONOR SYSTEM: Call your hits. Cheating will not be tolerated.
3. CHEATERS: do not argue with them in-game. Call them out to a referee.
4. BLIND FIRING: You must be able to see your target.
5. FIELD OBSTACLES: Do not move, jump over, or alter any obstacles.
6. CALLING YOUR HITS: When you are hit, call it out loud, pull out your DEAD RAG and walk to the respawn area.
7. PERSONAL CONDUCT: Do not argue with other players. See a referee if you have a concern. NO physical contact / fighting, this will result in your immediate ejection from the field for the day, possible ban and can also result in law enforcement being called, violence will not be tolerated.
8. FIRING MODES & GAME PLAY: at beginning of each round referee's will announce type of mode and firing options allowed in the round.
9. GAME START TIME: Game start clock will be posted at WZA store and time countdown will be announced on megaphone 5 minutes prior to going on the field. If you are not present on the field at start of game / game briefing you will have to wait till next round. Plenty of notification is given to everyone before we head out to game.
10. CHRONO: All equipment will be checked before you go out on the field, if you don't have a chrono tag you don't get on the field. Random chrono checks will be done on the field by referee's. If you believe a player is shooting hot please notify a referee.
11. PYROTECHNICS / SOUND (smoke / grenades / thunder v's, ect.): Once the device has left your hand or any players hand, do not attempt to pick up, kick or cover device. Please check with referee's if you have any other like devices for rules on usage.
12. SAFE ZONE: Make sure you’ve cleared your replica of any ammo and remove your magazine and switch your replica to safety when entering the SAFETY ZONE, after you have done this and excited the field you may take off your safety gear.
13. REFEREE'S HAVE THE FINAL SAY!

ANSI z87.1 rated or higher full seal eye protection is required at all times on the airsoft field. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Rules are what make our War Zone Airsoft field a fun and exciting place to play.
Player Restrictions and requirements:
- 10-15 years old: Full face masks are required.
- 16-17 years old: full seal eye protection. Mesh or plastic lower face protection required.
- 18 or older: full seal eye protection. Face protection is recommended.
- Red dead rags are required for all players. If you do not have one you can buy one at the field.
- Weapon restrictions and requirements:
- All Rentals will be required to use only approved BBs or BBs sold by War Zone Airsoft.
- All weapons will be chronographed with at least .32 for HPA and .20 bbs for Pistols,AEG and spring powered
- All weapons will be required to be under 25 rounds per second.
- All weapons will be required to have magazines out and at least 3 rounds shot into a safe location to ensure there is no bb in the barrel before entering the safe zone.
- Some examples are listed for the weapon classes , these are only examples they do not cover every weapon in that class.
We reserve all rights to change weapon classes and limits at any time.
Pistol:
• must be under 1.45 joules with .20
• semi auto - no minimum engagement distance
• full auto - 25' minimum engagement distance
Shotguns:
• must be under 1.45 joules with .20
• semi auto - no minimum engagement distance
• full auto - 50' minimum engagement distance
Rifles:
• AEG must be under 1.5 joules with .20, Hpa is 1.55 joules with .32
• semi auto - 10' minimum engagement distance unless otherwise specified by head Referee.
• full auto - only authorized on specific game but rarely used
SMG:
• must be 1 joule or under with .20
• MID CAPS magazines only.
• semi auto - no minimum engagement distance
• full auto - 25' minimum engagement distance
• must be a true SMG platform or fully automatic (i.e. glock 18)
• examples: H&K mp7, mp5, UMP, pp19 Bizon, Mac10, Thompson SMG, ARP-9
LMG:
• must be under 1.5 joules with .20
• Burst mode - 25' minimum engagement distance
• full auto - 50' minimum engagement distance(And can't walk in full auto unless LMG is capable of semi auto)
• must be true LMG platform
• Examples: M249 SAW, MK46, Stoner, Krytac LMG, RPK, CM16 LMG, RPD
DMR:
• must be under 2.0 joules with .20
• semi auto only
• 75' minimum engagement distance
• mid cap or real cap magazines only
• Examples: SR25, M14 series, SVD, M1 Garand
Sniper:
• must be under 2.25 joules with with .20
• semi auto only
• must be bolt action
• 100' minimum engagement distance
• Examples: L96 , M700, M24
Grenades:
• Pyrotechnic Grenades and Smoke Grenades are sold at the field and are the only pyrotechnic grenades allowed and only in specified areas.
• No home-made grenades of any kind
• No overhand throws, all grenades should be underhand lob to target location
• Do not thrown directly at a player
• Can be lobbed in a window
• 15' K*ll radius
• Hard cover protects you from a grenade only in milsim situations
• explosion in any size room takes out all players in that room
