About this Event
On 30th April, our Trail Tuesdays will take place at Bubbenhall Wood and Meadow nature reserve. It will be an opportunity to get outdoors, appreciate nature and decompress from the day - all in a friendly group!
There is the option to join either a 6km group run or a 3km group walk, both of which will leave at 18:00 and finish around the same time. Parking is available for free in Bubbenhall Wood Car park, off Paget's Lane (what 3 words ///amending.allies.passing) and the closest bus stop is outside the Three Horseshoes in Bubbenhall village. We will gather together in the car park to start at 18:00 - please see photograph of the gate to the car park.
There is no pre-requisite pace to join the walk, and we will always ensure the group stays together. For the run, there is also no pre-requisite pace and we will run as a group, but we will ask for your comfortable 5km time on ticket purchase and email a rough idea for the 6km before the day.
As this is a Youth Committee event, the event is only open to 18-35 year olds who live, work or study in Warwickshire, Coventry or Solihull.
On the day, please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather and activity. At present, the trails are muddy and more sturdy footwear is advised. The route is fairly flat but is mainly on natural, unpaved paths. Unfortunately, due to the terrain, the trails are not suitable for wheelchairs - please see photographs of recent conditions.

The nature reserve is accessible by public transport from Coventry, with a direct bus between Coventry town centre and Bubbenhall village (20-minute walk). We apologise that the reserve is less accessible from other locations.
