A Christmas Carol, published in 1843 by British author Charles Dickens, quickly became an integral part of American Christmas traditions through readings and performances in homes, on stage, radio, and television, and in the movies. The Wartburg Players, Wartburg faculty members, and Waverly residents join the orchestra in this uniquely local version of the American classic. A guest conductor will lead our signature holiday performance of Sleigh Ride. Join conductor, Dr. Rebecca Nederhiser and artists for a "Beyond the Music" talk an hour before the concert.
