About this Event
This one day annual softball tournament is being hosted by the Chicago Park District. This will be a double-elimination 16-inch softball tournament for veterans first responders and their families.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CLICK THE TICKET BUTTON AND REGISTER (the event is free)
*You don't need to be military or first responder to play on our team as long as 50% of the team is made up of veterans.
Although the Park District is providing lunch, Warriors Beyond War, will be providing food such as burgers, hotdogs & some drinks, but you can also bring your own grills, snacks, food & drinks.
Joining our team or simply attending the event is FREE of cost. There will be music, activities for kids, food and more! So bring family & friends. Although not required, you can bring lawn chairs, grlls, coolers, outdoor games, portable speakers & blankets to lay on. Make this a fun summer time activity. Summer will be gone before you know it. .
There are 4 ticket options.
1. Ticket for military service member or veteran
2. Ticket for first responder
3. Ticket for family friends & supporters
The event is free, but we ask that you register online regardless if you are playing or coming as a spectator. This will give us a number of how many to attendees to anticipate and prepare for.
We will have a WARRIORS BEYOND WAR section where you can hang out, (Look for our Flag) but we also recommend you mingle with the other veterans.
