Join Bastion community members on Thursday, August 14 for a writing workshop hosted by Warrior Writers, a national nonprofit that helps veterans and active duty service members connect, heal, explore creative avenues, and transform their lives through art. Veterans and active duty service members will meet in Bastion's Purple Heart Room at 5pm for dinner, followed by the writing workshop.
Warrior Writers works to create an open and accepting atmosphere to build a community of support. Workshops are for any service member or veteran regardless of experiences with writing, combat, art, deployment, etc. Sharing with the group and/or prior writing experience not required to participate!
