Supported by two master accompanists, Marcus Holden, on fiddle and mandolin and Garry Steel on accordion, he will present a masterful program of classic ballads, yarns, verses, and ditties that blend the quirky with the historic and the serious; from early colonial Australia that extending right through to the current time.

Strong of voice, always friendly, he complained of growing old as he approaches four score years. Warren Fahey has an enviable reputation as a serious contributor to the history of folk music and to the preservation of an understanding of Australian popular culture.
