If your goal is to become a weaver of multiple types of fiber, master the 3 weaving structures and learn to navigate the intricacies of a floor loom, this is the class for you!OR maybe you have a basic understanding of weaving but need personalized instruction to move toward a more advanced level – this class will answer your weaving questions. We take you at whatever level you are and help you develop more confidence with fiber and looms.
Developed from Jane Stafford Textiles lessons and geared toward beginning or intermediate weavers, this class will teach you how to dress a loom starting with winding a warp to throwing the shuttle. The lessons will allow you to explore the vast options of plain weave using different fibers and sett adjustments.
A pre-instruction consultation is required for students taking this class for the first time. You will discuss your needs and goals with the instructor, choose a project, and determine what fibers you will need to purchase before class begins.
