About this Event
as the winter takes hold.. the need for the warmth of connection and community grows, but often the access to it wilts as we find ourselves retreating into our own cozy little pockets of the world.
With that in mind.. "Warmth: a cozy & playful ecstatic dance" is an event with one goal.. To provide a cozy little pocket for us to share! A container of sweetness that offers what many of us need in the coldness, slowness, stillness (and sometimes isolation!) of winter.. community, connection, safety and cozyness.
To facilitate a container of connection, cozyness and safety for the attendees there will be :
- Cacao
- Co-regulation prompts and games
- Movement and play (affectionately called "recess" by some in our community)
- and reliable and loving safety coordinators for any who may need support for any reason!
....
oh, and a frickin' blanket fort.. let's not forget that <3
All of this infused with the sounds of a lovingly curated, blended and mashed up Ecstatic Dance set created by the always eclectic HP Tellem
Come in your comfyest clothes, bring what makes you feel warm and soft and safe, and let's cultivate the warmth we all need to carry us through the rest of winter.
We'll see you there!
