Rd 1: 8:00-11:15 Better Part of Valour
Rd 2: 11:30-2:15 The Vice
Lunch: 2:15-2:45
Rd 3: 3:00-5:45 Close to the Chest
Rd 4: 6:00-8:45 Limited Resources
Painting: Being fully painted will not be a requirement for this event.
Registering: To register for the event, tickets must be purchased before hand through our website xplanetgames.com and a link is provided above in this post under “ticket”. Links will be provided to sign up through BCP but signing up on BCP does not register you for the event without first buying a ticket.
REGARDING CHESS CLOCKS
Each round will be 2 hours and 44 minutes long. It is the hope that time will be roughly divided evenly amongst both players.
The only way to guarantee even time distribution is the use of chess clocks.
As long as a chess clock is provided by a player, a chess clock must be used if requested.
The person requesting the clock is responsible for managing the clock for both themselves and their opponent, being ready to flip the clock to themselves as soon as the opponent communicates they are done with their turn. Any mismanagement of the clock will result in the clock being removed from the table and defaulting to “shared” time.
