2025 Warhammer Age of Sigmar Escalation LeagueGOAL: To provide a fun, community-building league and to encourage completion of all those half-finished projects. The goal of league is to not focus on wins/losses but to learn, hobby, and strengthen the community.
ENTRANCE FEE: There is no entrance fee, but we encourage that you support your local store for the gaming space they've provided...even if it's just a drink or two on game night! In addition, League Participants will receive 10% off of their Warhammer Age of Sigmar Purchases during the league.
RULES: Very simple: build, paint, and play games!
1 point for playing a game. (5 max points per month)
1 point for finishing a unit that was not previously complete prior to league start. (5 max points per month)
1 point for giving a learner-game to a new hobbyist. We love our coaches! (2 max points per month)
5 points awarded for getting a brand-new player to join the league and purchase an army/starter box from the store.
At league's completion, votes will be tallied for:
Best Sport (5 pts)
Best Coach (5 pts)
Favorite Army (5 pts)
REPORTING: Games are required to be played at Wizard's Alley. Report games and show hobby progress by posting on Wizard's discord. They can be played anytime in the store. Not just on Tuesday nights!
SCHEDULE:
Month 1 - 1,000pts
Month 2 - 1,500pts
Month 3 - 2,000pts
ARMY COMPOSITION AND BATTLEPLANS: Army composition will use the standard rules of leaders, regiments, and points limits. Battleplans can be used out of the General's Handbook, the core book, or any other official GW material. It's about fun and learning and providing hobby motivation!
