Each team member donate a coat. Prefer new coats, but used coats okay if gently used... however must be clean: no stains or holes!
ARMY CONSTRUCTION:
A team is composed of 2 separate 1000 point rosters, each 1000pt roster is constructed as per 10th edition rules. The newest Balance Dataslate is in effect. Both rosters will combine to create a single army for all purposes.
In the case of teams where each player chooses the same faction, RULE OF THREE is in effect for units across both 1000pt rosters, with the exception of BATTLE LINE choices. *For example, both players in the team cannot take three of the same unit, however one teammate can take one and the other can take two of that same unit.
Please upload rosters to BCP, one team member will sign up in BCP as the captain. Include the name of the teammate in BCP.
Each 1000pt roster will maintain its own detachment abilities. Detachment abilities will only apply to the units within that 1000pt roster.
Any Unique units can only be included once in a team. Each Relic and Warlord Trait is unique and can only be taken once per team.
SCORING:
Battle points earned by each team member are combined based on Mission Primaries and Tactical Secondaries. Team captain will input the teams combined battle points into BCP at the end of each round.
COMMAND POINTS and STRATEGEMS:
Each Player has a warlord & both warlords count as such on the table for all rules purposes. The team only generates 1 CP per Command phase as a single army would under normal circumstances. Teammates share the combined CP pool.
During your games, change all references of “player” to “team”. So anything that is once per player is once per team. The same Stratagem cannot be used more than once during the same phase.
LETS BE FRIENDLY:
Abilities that effect "friendly" units can be used between both 1000pt rosters units. Any ability, stratagem, psychic power etc. can affect both players' units if the target is any FRIENDLY unit. Abilities that target unit specific keywords still only apply to units with that specific keyword, but these can be used across both 1000pt rosters if the keywords apply.
DEPLOYMENT:
During deployment teams alternate deploying, and each team deploys two units (one per player) to speed up set up.
MISSIONS:
Primary Missions: Primary points may be scored by either (or both) teammates.

SECONDARIES:
CHAPTER APPROVED MISSION DECK 2025-26 Tactical Missions will be in use for this event. Each team will use (1) Attacker or Defender deck for generating Secondary Objectives. At the start of your team’s Command Phase, each teammate must have (1) active Secondary Mission Card. A teammate may only attempt to complete the Secondary Objective they have generated for their half of the army.
New Orders Stratagem (1CP): Each teammate may use this Stratagem once per battle.
AWARDS:
Best Generals: This team has the highest total battle score.
Best Theme: The team with the coolest faction combo. Army could be painted to match, or elements that make the two halves of the team more cohesive.
